Blum's SERVO-DRIVE is an electric opening system that makes your drawers respond to the lightest touch. A gentle tap anywhere on the drawer front triggers the mechanism, and the drawer glides open by itself. When you close it, the soft-close system takes over to finish the movement silently.

Where It Fits

This works with any drawer or pull-out in your kitchen, from cutlery drawers to deep pan storage. Your cabinets need to be at least 275mm wide, which covers most standard kitchen units. It's particularly valuable in areas where you often have your hands full or messy, like near the hob or preparation areas.

How It Works

The system uses small electric units fitted to each drawer runner. These connect to a power supply and communicate through linking nodes when you have multiple drawers. Touch the front and a motor assists the opening motion. The familiar Blum soft-close mechanism handles the closing automatically.
