This is Blum's complete integrated waste solution for a 600mm base cabinet. The ECO-base system combines a full-extension drawer with multiple bins, dividers, and odour control in one pre-assembled unit finished in Orion Grey.

Where It Fits

The system fits into a standard 600mm wide base cabinet and needs at least 640mm of internal height and 503mm of internal depth. It works well in kitchens where you want waste sorting built into the design rather than having bins sitting on the floor or in a separate cupboard.

How It Works

You pull the drawer out on soft-close runners to access five separate bins with capacities of 32, 32, 32, 8, and 4.2 litres. The cross divider and lateral sections keep each bin in position so they don't shift when you open and close the drawer. An odour trap shelf sits across the top of the bins to contain smells and provides storage space for bin bags.

Why It Matters

Having waste sorting integrated into your kitchen means you can separate recycling and general waste without floor-standing bins taking up space or creating obstacles. The odour control system keeps kitchen smells contained, which matters particularly in open-plan layouts. The drawer box is Blum's LEGRABOX system with 40kg load capacity and soft-close BLUMOTION runners. Bin handles are reinforced with fibreglass to prevent breakage. The non-slip matting can be removed for cleaning, and the whole system carries a lifetime guarantee.

This particular configuration is sized for 600mm cabinets in Orion Grey finish. Blum offers TIP-ON BLUMOTION runners if you prefer push-to-open operation for handleless kitchens. Optional lids are available for additional odour control.
