What It Is

The AVENTOS HK top is Blum's compact stay lift mechanism for upper cabinets. This is the Easy Order version that includes everything you need for one cabinet door, with silk white cover caps that blend quietly into light-coloured kitchen schemes.

Where It Fits

This lift system works in wall cabinets and tall units where you want doors that open upwards rather than swinging out. It's particularly well-suited to cabinets above worktops where swing-out doors would get in your way, or in narrow kitchens where every centimetre of clearance matters.

How It Works

The mechanism holds your cabinet door open at any angle you choose, then brings it down under control when you're ready to close it. Even heavy doors feel weightless to open and close smoothly without slamming. The BLUMOTION system built into this version means the door slows itself in the final moments of closing.

Why It Matters

Upper cabinet storage becomes genuinely usable when you don't have to hold doors open with one hand while reaching inside with the other. You can open the door to exactly the right position and it stays there, giving you both hands free to work. This makes a real difference when you're reaching for items at the back of deep cabinets.

Design Consideration

The HK top works with cabinet heights from 205mm to 600mm and can handle door weights up to the 1610 power factor range. It suits both thin 8mm fronts and heavier wooden doors, but you'll need to calculate the right power factor for your specific door weight and cabinet size. The minimalist design keeps the mechanism almost invisible when the door is closed.
