The AVENTOS HF top is Blum's bi-fold lift system for wall cabinets. When you open the door, it folds back on itself and lifts upward, completely clearing the opening. This gives you full access to the cabinet interior without the door getting in your way.

Where It Fits

This system works in wall cabinets between 480mm and 1200mm high, and up to 1800mm wide. It's particularly useful for cabinets above worktops where a traditional door would hit you in the face, or in tall wall units where you need clear access to reach items at the back.

How It Works

The mechanism uses telescopic arms and lift springs to support the door weight as it opens. You pull the door toward you slightly, then it folds and lifts smoothly out of the way. The door stays open hands-free, which means you can leave wall cabinets open while you're cooking and moving around the kitchen.

Why It Matters

This solves the problem of doors that swing into your workspace or block your view of cabinet contents. You get complete, unobstructed access to everything inside, and the door won't close on its own while you're reaching for items.

Motion Options

The standard version includes BLUMOTION soft-close, so the door closes gently and quietly. You can also specify SERVO-DRIVE, which opens the door with a gentle touch. SERVO-DRIVE is particularly helpful for heavy doors or when your hands are full, though it requires electrical connection and a separate transformer.

Design Considerations

This system needs at least 264mm of internal cabinet depth to accommodate the mechanism. The door needs clearance above to fold upward, so consider ceiling height and any obstacles. It works well with various door materials and weights, but the mechanism must be sized correctly for your specific door using Blum's power factor calculations.

What's Included

The kit contains the lift mechanism, cover caps in light grey, telescopic lever arms, and hinges. Everything needed for installation is included, with chipboard screws for fixing. If you choose SERVO-DRIVE, the motor kit is included but the transformer is specified separately.
